Event Description:
The Chamber of Commerce Serving Lexington, Buena Vista, and Rockbridge County will be hosting the 26th Annual Chamber Golf Classic on Friday, May 19, 2023, at Lexington Golf and Country Club in Lexington, Va.  The number of participants and supporters of our Golf Classic continue to grow each year and we are appreciative of the generosity of others to help ensure a successful event.

Prizes
  • Chamber Golf Classic Trophy and top prizes will be awarded to the winning team
  • Prizes are awarded on holes 4, 8, and 14 for the ball closest to the pin.
  • Prize awarded on hole 5 for ball closest to pin on second shot.
  • Men’s longest drive contest on hole 3. Women’s longest drive on hole 18.
  • FBLA 50/50 raffle on hole 17 for ball closest to pin. $5 to enter
  • Putting Contest Sponsored by Augusta Health. $10 to enter.
 

Rules
  • 1 p.m. Shotgun Start
  • One ticket to the after party and entertainment are included in your ticket cost. The Cocktail Reception will begin at 5 p.m. with food, raffles and games.
  • FORMAT:  Captain’s Choice—all players tee off.  You then select the best shot and all players may place their ball within one club length, no nearer the hole, from that spot.
  • USGA Rules apply.
  • PREFERRED LIES:  All players may place their ball within one club length, no nearer the hole, through the green.  Ball selected lying in the hazard must be played as it lies.  All other players must drop the ball if in a hazard.
