Join us for a Ribbon Cutting to celebrate the Grand Opening of Inspired to Enhance's Lexington location at 9 South Jefferson St. on Friday, April 16th at 12:00 p.m. An Open House will follow until 4:00 p.m. Additionally, a champagne toast and celebration is planned from 6-9pm at Sweet Treats Bakery. The grand opening celebration is free to the public, but CDC guidelines will be strictly observed.

Lexington, VA. — Inspired to Enhance, a brand-new beauty and grooming salon, will open their doors Apr. 16, 2021. This will be the second location created by owner Allyson Davoll, who transformed the barber shop in downtown Lexington to an upscale salon while keeping its historic roots. Inspired to Enhance will feature services for all hair textures and styles, as promoted by Davoll’s passion for diversity and inclusion.
Davoll has been in the beauty industry since graduating from high school with a cosmetology certification. After attending Virginia Union University studying in business and marketing, Davoll continued to follow her passion of cosmetology and found herself as a shampoo assistant in a hair salon in Silver Spring, MD. She quickly advanced into management positions in Washington DC, motivating her to start her own beauty business consulting agency, called Inspired to Enhance Consulting Group. Spending years in beauty education and teaching, several of Davoll’s immediate family members were faced with multiple health challenges, prompting her to become an independent contractor and stylist.
Three years after opening her hair salon, Inspired to Enhance Beauty and Grooming Consultants in Salem, Virginia, Davoll’s grand opening for Inspired to Enhance Lexington will be on April 16, 2021 from 12 p.m.- 4 p.m., located on 9 South Jefferson St. The Coalition and the Lexington Chamber of Commerce plan to participate in a ribbon cutting, followed by a champagne toast and celebration from 6 p.m.- 9 p.m. at Sweet Treats Bakery. The grand opening celebration is free to the public, but CDC guidelines will be strictly observed.
