The event will take place on Thursday\, August 20\, 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Lexington Chamber of Commerce Office.\n\nEnjoy a live demo and learn how your organization can promote events\, recruit volunteers\, engage the community\, and more.\n\n\n\nThis event is free for chamber members and $15 for non-members.\n\n\n\nBecome a Founding Member of The Word.\n\n\n\nLex-Rock Chamber is excited to share an opportunity for local businesses and nonprofits to become Founding Members of The Word.\n\n\n\nYou are invited to join as a Founding Member at no cost. Founding Members will be among the first organizations featured on the platform as we prepare for the official community launch this fall. We will use this platform for Downtown events AND the Downtown Gift Certificate Program. \n\n\n\nOrganizations on The Word use it to connect with the community\, recruit volunteers\, promote events\, engage customers.\n\n\n\nThis allows enough time to onboard your organization before the community launch this fall.\n\n\n\nTo reserve your Founding Member spot\, please email outreach@theword.me by August 15 with:\n\n\n	Organization name\n	Primary contact name\n	Email address
