    After years of discussing the need and desire to create an organization that would support artistic endeavors in the Buena Vista area, in the fall of 2013 several civic-minded individuals gathered at a small café in downtown Buena Vista, and began an organization which has now become the Buena Vista Arts Council (BVAC). This 501(c)3 non-profit organization supports all art entities-- from non-profit to for profit, individual artists to groups of performers, educational and just-for-fun--serving the full spectrum of demographics in our community.

    We hope to build on our successes with our vision: ''BelieVe in BV!''
