Leaf & Lore is a bookstore and plant studio on Magnolia Avenue in downtown Buena Vista, where the smell of books meets the green of growing things.
Our shelves hold new releases and pre-loved books side by side, with room given to Shenandoah Valley authors alongside voices from the major publishers. Whatever you're after — a beach read, a birthday gift, a novel you've been meaning to get to for years — we'll help you find it, and we can special order nearly anything we don't have on hand.
In the plant studio, you choose a plant, pick a pot, and do the potting yourself before you leave. It's a good rainy-afternoon activity and a favorite with kids.
We also carry gifts, stationery, and cards, and we host author signings, readings, and workshops throughout the year.

From I-81, take Exit 188 and follow US-60 East about six miles into Buena Vista. We're on Magnolia Avenue in the downtown block, with street parking out front.
