The Virginia Horse Center encompasses 600 acres along the Maury River in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley nestled between the Blue Ridge and the Allegheny Mountains. The facility includes eight barns containing 750+ stalls, sixteen arenas with state-of-the-art footing, a 4000-seat coliseum, a 1000-seat outdoor grandstand, competitor camping options, multi-use meeting and conference space, a commercial kitchen, food court, extensive cross country courses, and a historic farmstead. The VHC is just 3 miles from Historic Downtown Lexington with its restaurants, shops, and historic sites. Multiple outdoor activities such as kayaking, hiking, and golfing are easily accessed by car.
